Verizon Box Return? 🤣

A Verizon rep called me up a few weeks ago and told me that (paraphrasing) the super-duper-crazy-fast 5G connection is no longer available in my neighborhood and I'd need to downgrade to the pretty-fa...

 • You watxh they'll turn around and charge you for the old equipment
 • Actually you can just take the router and power cable back to UPS and they will box it and send it back to Verizon for you , I just had to return a 5G router and wifi extender router a few days ago since they never sent me the return kit box I took it to UPS the employee scanned the barcodes on the router and they gave me a tracking number and I was on my way , Verizon emailed me the same day saying they had received confirmation I had returned the equipment
 • Yeah go ahead and return it or you might get a $400 charge I wouldn’t risk it so just return the old equipment.
 • Verizon tried to charge me for equipment that I returned even with proof of delivery. They sent me two different boxes to ship it back in and evidently I used the wrong one so they had no record of it. I had to file an FCC complaint to get it resolved. Good luck.
 • Oh, yeah, I will. I'll grab a box from the next Amazon purchase I have and ship it back. The rep did say not to worry about timing as much because it's the holidays ❤️ which was very kind. But I'll still get it shipped back ASAP.

Almost New Verizon Customer

Hello I was thinking about switching carriers to Verizon just for the promotions on the iPhone 16s and wanted to get two lines how much would my bill be per month if I get the $65 plan? I keep reading...

 • Verizon bills are pretty consistent and are easy to comprehend. That said, nobody here is going to be able to quote your bill with no context. What promo are you trying to get on Welcome? Are you getting VMP? Any first responder or teachers? There are a lot of variables, and honestly you should get the quote from the person getting the commission as they'll ultimately be responsible lol
 • The Verizon site is great at telling g you how much your next bill will be. It’s accurate and confirms whether your promos are attached for monthly discounts. I can tell you what my next bill will be and what future bills will be. The site that sucks hard at this is AT&T. It is known both via customers and by AT&T employees that you should ignore the customer bill summary because it is so woefully bad.
 • The website lets you play around with how many lines you want with what plans with the autopay discount included after linking your bank account or Verizon Visa card. You can save additionally if you or the other person on your account is military/vet/police/fire/ems or family member of one, teacher, nurse, or if you only have two lines, college student.
 • The taxes and fees add up to around 5$ per line. So if you are getting 2 lines on welcome you should be at around $120/mo. This is assuming you have $0/mo device payments. Your first bill will be a lot higher due to prorated totals and activation fees and you will pay sales tax on the phones up front. If you were to get the iPhone 16 pro max for example you would add $5.55/ per phone.
 • The website is good but if you have a corporate store in your area then you should go there and get a quote since it’s accurate with all the fees etc

iPhone 15 plus vs 16plus

Hello, I’m in need of a phone upgrade. I currently have a 12 pro max , and am just looking towards the ‘plus’ line since the battery life in some cases out does the pro max models. I know ev...

 • There isn’t any issues with the new phones in fact the perform better on cell edge than previous generations thanks to having Qualcomm’s most efficient and powerful cellular modem inside with the X7O(iPhone 15) and X75(iPhone 16) respectively. People are just ignorant to how cellular works and think more bars equals better connectivity. The reality is people who were upgraded from say a iPhone 12 to something more current were missing out on essentially half the network. The iPhone 12 was the first 5G capable iPhone but it didn’t support carrier aggregation on 5G NR so that phone had a tendency to drop down to 5G Nationwide( low-band 5G) which low band frequency’s are great for coverage( bars on phones) but horrible for data throughput. Essentially it was just using the LTE network. Since it hasn’t been until very very recently that Verizon has started commercially deploying their SA core which allows for capable handsets to not even need a LTE anchor band when establishing a 5G connection Also there is plans to take into consideration here as well. If your someone who is on a entry level plan (5G Start, Unlimited Welcome) not only do you not get to take advantage of promos through Verizon but you also don’t get to have access to their 5GUW( C-Band, and mmWave) well you are able to connect but you get hard throttled to 30mbps. You should get the iPhone 16 if you can, the reason is because their are no upgrade promos for a iPhone 15 and the iPhone 16 has monumental performance increases interns of raw performance and efficiency compared to the iPhone 15 which has essentially the same guts as the iPhone 14. Edit 1: Oh also you should get the 16 Pro Max since you rarely upgrade since the base storage is 256 GB and it has some other nice to haves. Your talking about $100 difference over 36 months vs the 16plus 256GB and the promo that is running on the site right now allows you to get $1000 for trading in your old phone on unlimited ultimate which is one of the better plans
 • Something not mentioned is that the 16 series is early upgrade eligible from Verizon. 15 series no longer have this option. Early upgrade allows you to only pay 50% of the phone or at 18 months upgrade to a new one and the payment agreement is canceled.
 • If ur gonna pay a phone note, get the 16. If you buying cash, 15
